history: history write up | in present day, Willa was born to culty, criminal parents and raised by an elder sister. She attended a variety of public schools before heading to a decent college in Seattle where she finally found Sylvie and Emmet and then the other.
abilities:

Willa has the ability to heal via water, whether this is only a part of hydrokinesis and she can actually do more, no one knows. She only heals. She can't manage mortal wounds unless she is in like Lake Victoria or something, but as long as she has a source of water, she can heal any minor injury. The bigger the injury the more the water. She can use herself as a source but if she pushes herself far enough she will die. :)
Limitations: Immortal but not invulnerable, baby girl has died a lot. She may be young and fit as now but she's old as balls on the inside and sometimes she looks dead inside.

personality:

Willa is too soft.

She was born in a time when magic was much more prevalent but even then it was a dying art and Willa's power was useful enough to be coveted so things had to be done to protect her. Luckily they weren't things she was opposed to (marrying her dearest friend was not a hardship) but it is a lesson Willa has taken to heart. Which means she doesn't take most people to heart. She has her family and everyone else is just there, she doesn't make attachments because she is already attached to her horrible immortal family.

It doesn't make her less of an empathetic healer but it does make her really great at triage, she will not let dozens of other people die to focus on one lost cause. She is protective of humans because it feels like her gift demands that of her, but she is pragmatic beneath it all. She has had many lives and they get only the one, she will help where and when she can, sometimes to the detriment of her own health when the healing becomes too much for her.

The constant death and rebirth can be draining, exhausting, and Willa cares so much for her family that watching them die over and over can be a strain on her, but she often doesn't let that be seen by the others, packing it down so she can try to help the others navigate this difficult life. Her role has always been support, healing is a supportive gift, and she believes in her gift, but she can't support other people if they are supporting her so even if it hurts to be rebuffed by Fabian or Theo, she ignores that and keeps trying.

She always keeps trying, every lifetime, she is always trying because she is too soft.
